Define clear-cut approach and work plan to achieve the assigned annual target from international markets for Bangalore Cluster of Client Hospitals
Focus on building network of HCFs and MVT companies in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Delhi
Apply concept of Key Account Management and track business performance
Business performance tracking (Target Vs. Actuals) for individual HCF
Network with key stakeholders like medical tourism companies, govt. agencies, ministry of health, private corporates and freelance healthcare facilitators.
Plan business trips to cities within India for expanding HCF network
Business development initiatives with local Bangalore based HCFs
Incremental business to be generated through tie-up with travel agents/ medical tourism companies and HCFs based in Bangalore.
Develop and execute clear and measurable action plans for business development in GCC countries and in Iraq by expanding HCF coverage
Performance based contracts
Foot-on-ground resources to drive revenue
Lead generation and follow up through direct and digital marketing
Execute travel plans and event calendar
Signing formal partnership agreements with overseas hospitals with an objective to build brand awareness and generate incremental revenue through patient referrals
Develop and maintain P&L sheet for information center and regularly monitor business performance against spends
Monthly business tracking from information centers and ensure reporting from foot-on-ground resources as per the targets assigned
To ensure the payments to all the HCFs- local or international are released within the prescribed time limits as mentioned in the IPS manual
Maintain Weekly payment tracker to keep track of payments processed/ held up at unit
Actively intervene to get payment released on time in coordination with unit and central finance team
Devise and implement monthly action plan for both RH units to drive monthly revenue targets from international patients
To ensure timely and rigorous follow ups after a business trip/ OPD or any business activity
Maintain post-visit tracker
Tracking the email database of in-house patients regularly
Ensure tracking of all IP discharges every month
Ensure monthly updates of email and contact number (patients country contact number; not HCF or India number)
Generate leads and ensure conversions from Digital marketing campaigns targeted towards focus geographies

Work with VP Sales and Marketing to develop and implement a focused digital marketing campaign including Webpage development, content development for landing pages, SEM campaigns, online lead generation through medical tourism portals
Work closely with ExecutiveCustomer Care at to Guide, Oversee and Support the operations and functions of IPS department
Coordinate with Executive- Customer care to ensure seamless and uniform customer care policies for international patients at RH
Formulate and implement the processes and protocols as outlined in the department manual
Coordinate with the treating doctors for getting timely responses to the medical queries
To handle all the aspects of patient care and coordination before the patient arrival, during treatment and post discharge
Follow up with the discharged patients to ensure treatment compliances as a part of the After-care program for international patients
Liaise with finance teams to ensure that the quotations given to international patients are as per the IPS pricing policy
Ensure daily rounds and reporting is done by the IPS supervisor
To meet patients/ attendants at the hospital and attend to their feedbacks and suggestions
Ensure thorough and comprehensive gathering of data as per the standard formats
Monthly reporting of MIS include:

  • Monthly trend Vs. targets (revenue and volume)
  • Specialty wise revenue trends
  • Business pipeline for the coming month
  • Monthly business plan to achieve targets
  • HCF wise business trends
Sending updated monthly report to GM-IPS at the start of the month
To maintain HCF-wise record of business generated and payments issued
Ensure continuous usage of CRM or maintenance of Query Tracker by all the IPS team members
To analyze the data and prepare dashboard from CRM/ Query Tracker to suggest insights on HCF trends, nationality trends, database gathering and business strategies towards achieving the business objectives of IPS for the year
Through CRM/ Query tracker
To ensure prompt query replies within stipulated TAT
Coordinate with medical coordinator to ensure timely responses
Maintain Daily Query tracker to alert the medical coordinator in case of delays and thereby avoid delays in responses
Maintaining the Payment tracker at unit for all the HCF payments
Actively follow up with unit finance and central finance team to ensure timely payment to HCFs
Visit the guest house at least once fortnightly to oversee their stay and take their feedback about stay arrangements and any improvements
To ensure regular and persistent follow up with the HCFs met during the international and local business trips
Maintain and share the Meeting tracker on regular basis
All the HCF contracts to be kept updated in all respects (documentation, Top Sheet, Mutually agreed commissions, Mark-ups to be applied, approved format of MoU)
Work with the marketing communication team to develop effective collaterals for international marketing vertical
