About the Role: Gravity Sports is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Ski/Snowboard Rental Tech to join our team in Las Vegas, NV! If you live and breathe snow sports and love helping others gear up for an epic day on the mountain, this is the perfect role for you. Come be part of a crew that shares your stoke for the slopes!
Responsibilities:
- Fit and adjust ski and snowboard rental equipment for customers of all ages and skill levels
- Perform daily inspection, maintenance, and tuning of rental fleet including boots, bindings, skis, and snowboards
- Set and test ski bindings to appropriate DIN settings based on customer height, weight, and ability
- Assist customers in selecting the right equipment for their needs and experience level
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe rental shop environment
- Process rental transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
- Perform minor repairs and edge/wax tuning on rental equipment as needed
Requirements:
- Prior experience in ski/snowboard rental, tuning, or shop operations preferred
- Working knowledge of ski binding DIN settings and boot fitting fundamentals
- Passion for skiing and/or snowboarding with a solid understanding of equipment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift equipment up to 50 lbs
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasonal hours
