What we are looking for:
Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join.
Our company is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our software development team. In this role, you collaborate with other developers and engineers to design computer applications and programs. Part of these responsibilities include writing and debugging code, so we are looking for applicants familiar with Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other common programming languages. You should also be comfortable using .Net, AngularJS, and other common frameworks to develop software for various platforms.
Location: Remote with 10-15% travel to client sites across the United States.
The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MI, MN, MS, NC, NJ, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.
The successful candidate will be accountable to:
- Collaborate with other developers and engineers to design, build, and maintain applications
- Build applications for various platforms using common frameworks, including .Net
- Working with a highly technical team in an Agile environment in order to provide timely, effective, and customized software solutions
- Participating in the flow of continuous development with the incorporation of unit and integration testing / testing best-practices throughout
- Write and debug code
- Troubleshoot software issues
- Provide on-call support as necessary
What you bring:
Experience, Education, and Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Experience writing code in C#, .NET, WebForms, MDX, KnockoutJS, SQL, and React
- Experience using SQL to update and retrieve data
- Experience in full stack development
- Analytical skills
- Communication skills
